Constantly-changing night lighting varies according to changing river conditions, such as temperature and flow
The Streetcar cuts through the Urban Plaza at Portland State University [PSU]...with more cafe options and another Starbucks
It passes the Portland Art Museum and Central Library where we need to change to the next T — the MAX
T1 Trolley — but never, ever call it that in Portland
Unlike the MAX, which is meant primarily to serve commuters, the Portland Streetcar was conceived to take one through many of Portland’s finest neighborhoods and past most of its landmarks and dozens of diverse dining opportunities.
Starting at the base of the Tram [or at Tilikum Crossing, for more streetcar options], the 20-minute ride to connect to the MAX goes past Riverplace [home of The Intertwine Alliance], through The Halprin Sequence of parks and the PSU campus, past the Portland Art Museum and the Central Library, where we get off to switch to the MAX.
