Kelley Point Park is a Portland Parks & Recreation park in North Portland. Bounded by the Columbia Slough on the south, the Willamette River on the west, and the Columbia River on the north, the park forms the tip of the peninsula at the confluence of the rivers. Ships from around the world can be viewed on either river.

The park can be reached by public transportation weekdays only. Two bus stops are east and west of the park entrance. Both are just under a half mile from the park entrance. Take the bike/pedestrian path along Marine Drive/Lombard Street and then use the underpass to get to the park. The underpass necessitates a little loop to get under the bridge that crosses the Columbia Slough. The 40 mile loop hiking and biking trail runs by the entrance to the park, but across the street from Marine Drive.

Kelley Point has three parking lots. The first lot is for the canoe/ kayak launch. The middle lot is on the Willamette River side of the park. The lot at the end of the road is furthest away and the largest. It borders the Columbia River. There is a 1.3 mile loop made of paved trails along the road. You can also turn around and go back the way you came.

There are a lot of cracks and lips along the paved trails. All the trails leading to water are soft surface. There are two sets of restrooms with accessible stalls along the paths.

Wildlife surrounds you at the park. Bewick's wrens, Caspian terns, osprey, cormorants and gulls are some of the birds you might see. Rabbits and squirrels scamper among cottonwoods, fir trees and vegetation that you’ll travel through.

Other park amenities include picnic tables, view points and interpretive signs. Bring your own drinking water. For picnic site reservations call (503) 823-2525.

The park is open from 6 am to 10 pm daily.
